Painting curbs & stepping stones
Have you got any curbs, garden fences or stepping stones to paint? Get the kids to do it and you can finish off with the final touches. Finish off with a spray if you use normal acrylic on your stones. This way it will last longer.

Slate painting
Same thing as painting pebbles: acrylic markers and sealent spray. I used some broken slates to make houses and an old tile to make a multi-storey block. You can put them in your garden or in a fairy corner.

Garden play ideas
Some of them can be done indoors. We have used some pegs to play a sort of follow my trail hide and seek, played with water and syringes (had different sizes, but you can use the ones from the paracetamol syrups for kids) and watered the flowers. Happy playing

Painted peebles 2
Insects, snails and frogs. Used glitter because they were meant to be used in a fairy garden for my little ones. I used acrylic pains as well as acrylic markers and spray for waterproof finish.

Make an outdoor bed. I used the trampoline and added pillows and blankets, but you can use a paddling pool or just put blankets on the grass if not wet. Watch the clouds or stars, have a snack, count birds and admire the nature.

Water slide/puddles activity
