Here is a great play idea for the cold season. I have made this with different snow options so do check the other alternatives on this blog. For this I used the instant snow you get in christmas markets, but ordered my online much cheaper and in a large tube.

Here it goes.

What I’ve used:

• Tray;
• Instant snow;
• Cling film or plastic bag for the frozen lake;
• Cotton balls;
• Penguins & seals figurines;
• Tree models;
• Reusable ice cubes.

Build a small North Pole world using the above materials. Use very cold water to make the snow and take the ice cubes from the freezer for a full sensory experience.
