Slate painting
Same thing as painting pebbles: acrylic markers and sealent spray. I used some broken slates to make houses and an old tile to make a multi-storey block. You can put them in your garden or in a fairy corner.

Garden play ideas
Some of them can be done indoors. We have used some pegs to play a sort of follow my trail hide and seek, played with water and syringes (had different sizes, but you can use the ones from the paracetamol syrups for kids) and watered the flowers. Happy playing

Insects, snails and frogs. Used glitter because they were meant to be used in a fairy garden for my little ones. I used acrylic pains as well as acrylic markers and spray for waterproof finish.

Chores & Lifelong skills
My little ones love helping with cooking, dusting or wiping floors. They can practice how to use scissors and knives, graters, brooms, vacuums and other instruments. She had great fun learning how to sew with a jumbo plastic needle and cardboard. We are doing different shapes like squares or triangles.

Doll on a walk photography project

Chalk ideas
Plenty of ideas out there. Animals, shapes, flowers. The one my little ones enjoyed the most are “be a butterfly” and colour our fence. There’s scope for many hours of work on the fence one.

Easter card/picture idea
Use some egg boxes to make this multideminsional card. Cut the egg holders in flower shapes, paint and make a bouquet by glueing the flowers on some card. Add the stems and punch a whole for hanging up.
